Last Friday, we had the pleasure of hosting SSF matches under lights.
We hope all the parents and kids enjoyed the experience and left with positive memories.
I was a great night with clubs from the northern hub enjoying our hospitality and wonderful facilities.
A warm thank you goes out to all the volunteers that assisted with the event ensuring its success.
Now that this one is under our belt – the next one should be much easier.

The four larger clubs from the Croatian Community – North Geelong Warriors, Melbourne Knights, St Albans Saints and Dandenong City were hosted marvellously by the Melbourne Knights.

Metro/Geelong U12/U13 (all 2000/1999 born players): 6:30pm Mon/Wed from 8th Feb 2012 @ Elcho Park
Metro U14/U15 (all 1998/1997 born players): 5pm Mon/Wed from 8th Feb 2012 @ Elcho Park
Geelong U17: 5pm Tue/Thur from 14th Feb 2012 @ Elcho Park
Metro U18 (1994-1996 born players): Are already in training with U21/Senior squads please contact Rob Kelly 0401 038 367 for training dates and times.
Kindly note that it has been the coaches and junior committee decision that there will be no formal trials for Metro squads this season. Instead it will be treated as pre season training with squad selections done over the training period. All players will train in their respective age groups and it will be the coaches decision whether a player will ‘play up’ in a higher age group. For example if you are 2000 born, you must initially train with the U12 Metro squad.
