Seniors

Clifton Hill 0 vs North Geelong 0

With the season coming to it’s final stages, the Warriors were looking forward to finishing on a high note, whilst promotion was mathematically still possible prior to the match with Clifton Hill first and foremost on the minds of the players would be going out on a high. The Warriors played well and had the lion share of the game in their control. A few moments of excitement for Clifton hill who were searching for a win to ease their automatic relegation fears, but the defence of the Warriors were under control.

The Warriors had their chances to chalk up a win but the desperation of Clifton Hill and wayward strikes took their tally.

A win in Saturday’s final home match of the season vs Langwarrin would be a great way to end a rollercoaster season filled with action a plenty.

Under 21s

Clifton Hill 4 vs North Geelong 0

A disappointing effort from the Under 21s especially with the championship on offer to take. Continually exposed down the flanks and lack of energy which has been their strong point all year. They have a game on hand on Sept 7th in which to make up for the lapse and put themselves on top of the ladder again. Before that though, they taek on their biggest threat in Langwarrin on Saturday at 1pm. They will be primed for this one.
