Miss Croatia 2010 Wrap
A fantastic and memorable evening with everything you could ask for in a celebration of community.
To start with a sold out night, a beautiful venue in AHD Geelong – Kardinal Alojz Stepinac, beautifully presented people, electric atmosphere, a great band and of course 5 stunning girls all wishing to represent North Geelong as Miss Croatia.
Jess Bartulovic, Daniella Delac, Ana Erceg, Helena Madunic and Maddie Simic all lit up the room with their beautiful gowns and beaming smiles. Partnered by some North Geelong Soccer Clubs bright talents in Daniel Roksa, Matthew Demo, Anthony Banovac, Luka Sesar and John Patti the 5 stunners graced the dance floor and opened up the night in style.
Moving on to the final stage questions, the girls all remained excited and took the night on with confidence. As the judges scores were tallied up it came down to the wire and only half a point in it.
First of all Miss Charity was announced and it was taken out by Ana Erceg. Miss Runner Up Helena Madunic, Helena is also one of our Women Warriors and heads off to New Zealand to play in the Annual Croatian Soccer Tournament.
Then it was the announcement the masses all came to hear. Miss Croatia – North Geelong 2010 is Ana Erceg.
Ana is also involved in HKUD LADO where she plays in the ensemble as well as performing in dances. Ana will head off to New Zealand for the Miss Croatia Gala Night at the Annual Croatian Soccer Tournament with our blessing as we’re sure she’ll do us proud.
The night continue in the same electric atmosphere as Major Minor took over from there and rocked the house down til all the party revelers could dance no more. This writer in particular had a very sore throat from doing his best impression of a bad singer trying to sing.

Thank you also to our Judges Karmen Krasic and Mimi Simunic, Tonic Prusac and Caroline Cicak for being terrific MCs once again and Major Minor you guys just keep rocking.
We at the club are humbled and overwhelmed by the public response to the grand occasion and we can’t wait til next year to bring to you again.
