GRFC U13 Div 1 Rd 16 v Barwon
GRFC U13 Div 1 Round 16, North Geelong lost 1-2 v Barwon.
The team played great football in difficult muddy and strong wind conditions at Elcho Park on Saturday. Many opportunities went begging in the match that may have changed the final result. The boys played their heart out and deserved a better result but at the final whistle the whole team regretted not putting more balls away into the net from their opportunities. With a guaranteed 4th spot on the ladder there is still a chance in claiming 3rd spot if we get a couple of good results from the final two games of the season. Despite the loss we can move forward with confidence into the remaining 2 games that lead into the finals series.
Well done guys on a gutsy hard fought game.
