FFV U13C Rd 16 v Westvale
FFV U13C Round 16, North Geelong lost 1-2 v Westvale.
The team played out the match with guts and determination in difficult muddy and windy conditions at Elcho Park on Sunday. The team dominated the first half but were only able to be 1-0 up at half time. The second half continued as the first and it seemed it would be only a matter of time before another North goal went into the net. But from something out of nothing, the defence let their guard down and Westvale scored. Only a few minutes later another goal was scored into the net. The team to their credit fought on in the mud and wind and kept attacking for the equaliser.
They had some opportunities in the final minutes of the match with continuous balls getting crossed into the penalty box but were unable to score. The team was disappointed that they didn’t capitalise on their chances throughout the game. We have a great opportunity to finish off the season well with the remaining 2 matches of the season. Well done guys on a gutsy hard fought game.

- There will be 3 players away from this game Elizabeth, Filip and Thomas.
So it’s important that Rob and I are informed if there are any players that are not feeling well and there is a chance of them not playing on Sunday.
