The countdown continues…..
We are one month away from the start of the season and the excitement is building. The Senior’s and Under 21’s have had some interesting pre season hit outs and are building in confidence each week. Matthew Demo and Daniel Dragicevic are returning to the squad over the next 7 days. In addition, 2008 squad members Damien Morrel and Ante Deak have returned to The Warriors. Welcome back gents.
This weekend at North Geelong Soccer Club on Sunday 14th March, the seniors have a practice match against fellow Division 1 competitors, Western Suburbs, who are always a formidable force in the league and will no doubt be looking to give the Warriors a run for their money and a taste of what Div 1 is like. Kick off is at 2pm.
Coming up at North Geelong Soccer Club is the 2010 Season Launch. Saturday 27th March at 6pm. This year all Warriors players from seniors through to juniors are asked to be a part of it. “Gola Gitara” will entertain us as well as the junior group from Croatian Folkoric Group – LADO. Please book in advance, as space is limited. It is a chance for our sponsors to see what they are supporting so lets give them a huge warm welcome. See the event section for more details.

Special note to remember – Round 1 St Albans Saints vs North Geelong Warriors which was scheduled for April 10th at Churchill reserve, has been moved to April 9th at Knights Stadium.
