Snakes
There have been sightings of snakes around the club. Snakes will normally try to avoid humans, however, people still need to be vigilant and take precautions such as wearing long pants and enclosed shoes when walking around the club premise as well as keeping away from the fence lines and shrubbery/trees to avoid being bitten.
Most snake bites occur when people accidentally step on a snake or attempt to kill it. Warning to dog owners also to take extra care when bringing their pets or walking their pets around the club premise. Keeping your dog on a lead is a good way of reducing the risk of snake bite.
The soccer club does all it can to reduce the possibility of snakes on the premise with regular mowing, however our surroundings are such and our neighbours and ourselves are on an open field and wildlife is apart of our environment.
