Socceroos lay out the welcome Matt for Spiranovic

North Geelong SC along with all its members and supporters exends a warm congratulations to Matthew Spiranovic.
On Friday night, Spiranovic made his first appearance for the Socceroos in Australia’s 1-0 win over Ghana in Sydney. The 20-year-old, who plays with German side FC Nuremberg, came on as a substitute in the 65th minute.
The North Geelong export Matthew Spiranovic has retained his place in Australia’s squad for Sunday’s World Cup qualifier against Iraq. Socceroos’ coach Pim Verbeek has included Spiranovic in his 34-man squad for the match at Brisbane.
